Farewell to Tiger Lake, Intel discontinues production of 11th generation mobile CPU and 500 series chipset

When Intel has launched the 13th generation Raptor Lake and is about to launch the 14th generation Meteor Lake, it announced that it will stop prod

uction of almost all the 11th generation Tiger Lake processors.

Tiger Lake, as the successor of Ice Lake, is based on the Intel 10 nanometer SuperFin process node, mainly targeting laptops.
Intel began discontinuing some of the Tiger Lake series processors in April this year, and in addition to the entire Tiger Lake B series, it also discontinued the Tiger Lake-H (45W) and Xeon W SKU.
Intel stated that starting from June 5th, the remaining Tiger Lake SKUs, including Tiger Lake-H35, UP3 (formerly U-series), UP4 (formerly Y-series) chips, have reached the End of Life (EOL) state.
After discontinuing production of almost all Tiger Lake product portfolios, Intel will also discontinue production of 500 series mobile chipsets.

Intel announced that the HM570, WM590, and QM580 chipsets have entered EOL status and will no longer accept orders for Tiger Lake and 500 series mobile chipsets after October 27th.
