Samsung Galaxy Watch 6/Pro smart watch will be designed with curved glass screen

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Watch 6 watch series with Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 later this year. Samsung will make major design changes to all of these upcoming devices. The folding screen mobile phone uses a water drop hinge to reduce screen creases. Samsung Galaxy Watch will also usher in changes, similar to Google Pixel Watch.

The source @ Ice Universe said that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 will be designed with curved glass screens. This is different from the flat screen of the Galaxy Watch 5. The curved glass design at the edge makes the screen easier to be scratched, but it may also make the device more elegant and beautiful.

Recent reports indicate that Samsung is negotiating with BOE on the supply of OLED panels. Samsung may continue to use round OLED screens, similar to all previous Galaxy watches. After two years of using the same Exynos W920 chip, Samsung may bring newer chips to the Galaxy Watch 6.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series is expected to provide all health and fitness tracking functions, including blood pressure monitoring, heart rate tracking, ECG, SpO2 measurement, body composition analysis, sleep tracking and exercise tracking (IT Home Note: these are also Galaxy Watch 5 series functions). It is expected that pure Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+5G network versions will also be available.
