TPAN0220 and TPAL0220 series new generation planar non-inductive power resistors


TO-220 packaging is a commonly used inline packaging form for high-power transistors, small and medium-sized integrated circuits, and power resistors. After installing a heat sink reasonably, the rated power of TPAN0220 series resistors can reach 50W, and the rated power of TPAL0220 series resistors can reach 35W. This product has optimized its process design and has excellent long-term stability, low temperature coefficient, high heat dissipation, low thermal resistance, and low current noise, making its application range very wide.

Application field:

The rated power of TPAN0220 and TPAL0220 series resistors is 50W and 35W, and they adopt a design with a bottom heat dissipation flange to increase their heat dissipation channels to balance the thermal characteristics of the circuit. They have excellent heat dissipation effects and are usually designed for current detection, energy absorption and discharge, RC absorption, high-speed switching, high-frequency transmission circuits, and are also commonly used for voltage regulation, constant power loads, and low energy pulse loads.

Application industries such as industrial laser welding equipment, testing equipment, instruments and meters, UPS, automobiles, and switching power supplies.

As a pure heating element, a resistor converts all electrical energy into thermal energy, manifested as a temperature rise. When resistors are operated at high temperatures for a long time, their electrical performance and lifespan will be weakened. Therefore, in high-power applications, to control the heating temperature of the resistor, it is necessary to consider the heat dissipation problem of the resistor.
