Intel released a green computer: equipped with 12-generation Core, fully simplified components, and 90% recyclable

According to Intel's official news, today, Intel held a new product launch with the theme of "sharing the new concept of high energy and low carbon with ecological partners, and jointly building a green business computer".

Intel and PC industry partners including Tsinghua Tongfang and Acer jointly launched green commercial computer products, claiming to integrate the new concept of high energy and low carbon into the four key links of the whole life cycle from PC definition design to recycling cycle, bringing 14 breakthroughs and innovations.
It is reported that the green commercial computer is equipped with Intel's 12th generation Core processor and has been improved in many aspects. The summary of IT Home is as follows:
On the motherboard, the number of common desktop mainboard components is about 1800, while the number of green computers has dropped to about 1400, and hundreds of unnecessary electronic components have been reduced, saving about 22% of materials;
In terms of power supply design, the on-board voltage regulator on the main board has a higher efficiency, which is 6% higher than the ordinary design. The miniaturized fanless 12V single-circuit output power supply has reached the 80Plus platinum standard, with an efficiency of more than 92%. If the gallium nitride power supply is used, it has reached the 80Plus titanium standard, with an efficiency of more than 96%;
Due to the high integration of the motherboard, the area of the miniaturized PCB is 36% less than that of the ordinary ATX motherboard, and the way of separating the IO board is no longer used, thus reducing the use of cables.
In the highly integrated 7L compact chassis, it can meet the performance and expansion IO requirements of most desktop applications. Compared with the traditional 15L tower chassis, it reduces the use of materials. Only four screws are needed to fix the main board, while more screws are needed for the ordinary desktop, which optimizes the manufacturing process to the greatest extent.
The green computer also uses green materials with low harmful and recyclable substances, single fan radiator, compact assembly chassis, efficient fan-free power supply, expansion of connection wire saving and recyclable panel.
Intel said that it focused on the product life cycle of green low-carbon computers "from cradle to cradle", and brought 14 breakthroughs and innovations through the green control of four key links: definition and design, manufacturing and delivery, use and maintenance, recycling and recycling, including:
Main board green material selection and device simplification, cooling fan optimization, structural modular design, chassis tool-free assembly design, power supply using high conversion rate and low heat gallium nitride technology, device green recyclable, SMT (Surface Mount Technology) link green optimization, assembly automation to reduce human and resource consumption, packaging green carbon saving, body smart low power consumption, low carbon mode optimization energy efficiency Better low-carbon use mode for data management training, low carbon experience for multi-scenarios with software, and high recyclability of green degradable PCB (printed circuit board)
In addition, the green computer product has customized a set of low-carbon software solution - "Intel Green Computer Software Control Center", in which users can set the PC to low-carbon operation mode and understand the PC's operating power consumption in real time. Relevant data can also be collected and summarized to facilitate unified deployment and energy efficiency management by management units. The software can also make the computer perceive the user's status and improve energy efficiency when using. When the user leaves, the PC can enter the lower power consumption mode in time to achieve energy saving and carbon reduction.
Intel's green computer industry partners can achieve 95% metal and glass fiber recovery and 90% organic matter recovery, greatly reducing pollution and waste.
