MNT Transform Next Laptop Exposure: Lighter and thinner, equipped with Ruixin Micro RK3588 chip
The MNT Transform laptop series is a modular device designed around the principle of open hardware. It not only runs open source software, but also supports self-designed 3D printing shells, redesigned printed circuit boards, or other DIY uses in hardware design.MNT Transform Next Laptop Exposure: Lighter and thinner, equipped with Ruixin Micro RK3588 chip
The MNT team has started researching a new model called "MNT Transform Next", which is a lighter and thinner computer equipped with faster ARM based processors and supports up to 32GB of memory.
Lukas Hartmann, founder of MNT Reform, stated that MNT is still in the early stages of designing new laptops, but its idea is basically to combine some of the features of the first generation MNT Reform with the recently launched MNT Pocket Reform.
The MNT Transform Next laptop will be "thinner and supported by next-generation processors such as RK3588", equipped with a Ruixin micro Rockchip processor, featuring four ARM Cortex-A76 CPU cores, four ARM Cortex-A55 cores, Mali-G610 MC4 graphics and neural networks, and a processing unit with up to 6TOPS AI performance.
MNT laptops typically adopt a modular design, which means that the processor is likely to be located on a removable and replaceable module, and users can later replace it with the latest MNT provided processor.
