Guanghetong's new generation 5G module FG370 has achieved mass production

Guanghetong, the Internet of Things wireless communication solution and wireless communication module provider, officially announced that the new generation 5G module FG370 has achieved mass production, and officially released the FWA (fixed wireless access) solution based on FG370 (IT home note: full name: fixed wireless access), including the reference design scheme of CPE and MiFi, during the period of MWC 2023. At the MWC site, FG370 module products, CPE and MiFi reference design demos have all appeared.

Guanghetong's FWA solution based on FG370, including CPE and MiFi reference design Demo, fully supports more than 7 advanced features of WiFi. The CPE reference design Demo size of BE19000 is 100 * 147 * 16.75mm, supports tri-band Wi-Fi 7, and can be expanded to 1 * 2.5G/1 * 1G PHY and SLIC interfaces; The MiFi reference design Demo size of the BE6500 is 128.9 * 64.1 * 5.85mm, supports dual-band Wi-Fi 7, can be extended to 1 * 1G PHY interface, and provides software algorithms such as fast charge management.
In order to meet the needs of different customers for 5G speed, 5G coverage and storage, Guanghetong continued to optimize its products on PC1.5, low-frequency 4x4 MIMO, and separated storage, as well as upgrade its products on the millimeter wave frequency band.

FG370 module was released in October 2022 and has obtained CE and GCF certification. FG370 has achieved mass production on a large scale, and the first batch of mass production products have been delivered to customer terminal equipment.

Thanks to the performance of the MediaTek T830 platform, the FG370 has significantly upgraded its main frequency performance and gigabit throughput performance. Without increasing CPU load, FG370 can provide gigabit throughput performance for 5G network transmission to Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
In terms of 5G rate and signal coverage, FG370 supports up to 300MHz bandwidth and downlink NR 4CA (four carrier aggregation) in FDD and TDD mixed mode, with the maximum downlink rate jumping to 7.01Gbps. Moreover, the FG370 adopts 5G-compatible 8RX (receiving antenna) design, which can improve the downlink rate without changing the bandwidth. In addition, the FG370 supports PC1.5 with a transmission power of up to 29dBm, greatly improving the 5G uplink rate and the 5G effective coverage.
The FG370 has rich peripheral interfaces (IT Home Note: including three PCI-Express, USB 3.2, and two USXGMII interfaces with a speed of up to 10GbE), and can be extended to SLIC functions through PCM/SPI interfaces, thus supporting RJ11 telephone interfaces.
