Challenges of 5G integration into industrial Internet
This is particularly important in the complex closed-loop control system. The high-precision motion control between PLC, sensor and motor is likely to adopt different communication modes and protocols, and the encoder and other sensors may also adopt different communication modes when collecting data. When 5G is connected to this system, it is necessary to consider the compatibility and management issues.

At the MWC exhibition in Barcelona, China Unicom and ZTE jointly released the practical results of the 5G-A deterministic industry in the Midea kitchen smart factory. Through the 5G+industrial Internet pilot, it verified the local business processing and ultra-low latency data forwarding at the industrial site.
ZTE has even built a 5G intelligent manufacturing base in Nanjing, which is "manufacturing 5G with 5G". By using the 5G private network, which is safe, reliable, high-speed and low-latency, the innovative applications such as 5G cloud-based AGV, 5G cloud-based PLC, 5G machine vision, 5G inspection robot and digital twins are embedded in the production process to realize 5G independent production. According to the data provided by ZTE, the manufacturing base has nearly doubled its production efficiency, and also reduced the probability of production errors and production energy consumption.
From the white paper "5G/5G-A Deterministic Network Enabling Vertical Industry" released by China Unicom, as the industry gradually moves towards the new 5G standardization, combined with URLLC+TSN, perception enhancement, 5G LAN and other technologies, 5G-A Deterministic Industrial Internet will play a more important role. Such as low-power and high-precision positioning and ranging applications, multimode sensing communication services, etc., will also become the Killer App in the 5G deterministic industrial Internet.
